Our Scholarship Program

Building Brighter Tomorrows

As much as I love our annual Angels in the Alley ~ Foster Kids Christmas event, providing these transitional & extracurricular scholarships to these wonderful children, is beyond rewarding.

Unfortunately, there is not much support for foster kids who ‘age out of the system’. They are sent out into the world at 18-years old entirely on their own. They don’t have the ‘bank of Mom and Dad’ to fall back on and lord knows they deserve our support!

Our $1500 transitional scholarships have helped kids start college, join the military, help pay for a car to get to work, and so much more. These ‘giant checks’ that we bring to their graduations come with lots of inspirational words like, “we believe in you”, “we know that you will do great things in your future,” and most of all, “we love you and you will always be a part of our family.” Oh…and a ton of hugs of course!
